Week 2
August 29, 2025 - These precious punkins have all been growing like weeds - we joke all the time that Lady Belle must be producing Blue Belle Enriched Milk! They have finally all opened their eyes and are busy moving their heads back and forth, trying to figure out what that light is that's shining in their room. :)) And sure enough, right on cue, they are working so hard to learn to crawl. Their pink little noses are gradually turning black. And within the next few days, they will start hearing some sounds - so so fun!!!
All of these precious ones are now reserved.

Ready for Action!
8/29/25 - I have to admit... this is always my favorite part of puppy-raising - the building, yet again, of the puppies' soon-to-be playpen! Once the puppies start learning to crawl, it's pretty unpredictable as to when one will actually be able to crawl out of their birthing center. So, once the crawling starts, we get ready for the big event and we convert our living room into a giant playpen for the next 6 weeks! It's a whole lot like building a doll house - we have fun doing it differently for every litter. So today, the living room is officially a puppy palace!

Things are Happening Fast!
8/31/25 - The puppies haven't even made it to Week 3 yet, and yet... they have started hearing the sound of my voice (very endearing!), they have started crawling like drunken sailors (walk a little, fall a lot), they have continued to practice being oh-so snuggly, and of course they have started investigating how to climb out of their birthing center! So, starting yesterday, we have started daily mini-sessions of crate training (with the door open and then closed) and mini-introductions to their soon-to-be home in the big playpen in our living room. These days are such fun!!!
